Rain! Rain! Go Away! So, I learned that rainy days tends to make your hair oily and erupt buildup.  This is what you should do on a day like today, massage your scalp with an Essential Oil to improve blood circulation; it will strengthens your hair and prevents hair loss.  Here are some Essential Oils specially for rainy season:

  • Almond Oil: Stimulates hair growth, moisturizes the scalp and strengthens hair. It also combats frizz and adds shine to hair.
  • Jojoba Oil: Moisturizes the scalp and conditions your hair and prevents it from being brittle and dull.
  • Lavender Oil: Scalp treatment for itchiness, dandruff and for the smell.
  • Rosemary Oil: Promotes hair growth and dandruff treatment - Do not use if your pregnant!

Hot Oil Treatment For Dry Hair!

Natirèl Beauties, is your hair a little dry? Well, here is a great hot oil treatment that I always do when my hair is feeling dry:

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup of  Olive Oil (Extra Virgin)

What To Do:
  • Heat oil in the microwave for approximately 1-2 minutes.
  • Carefully pour the oil into a spray bottle.
  • Apply to the ends and dry parts of your hair (avoid getting oil onto your scalp).
  • Cover your head with a shower cap or warm towel for at least 30 minutes.
  • Rinse, then shampoo and condition as usual.

**NOTE** For extra conditioning, some naturals advise sleeping with the oil on your hair and washing it out the next morning.
